Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD), also called Shamshabad Airport, is south of Hyderabad, and GMR runs it. All flights use one integrated terminal, with domestic flights on its eastern side and international flights on its western side.
On international flights you go through immigration, then baggage claim and customs, before the arrivals hall; domestic passengers go straight to baggage claim. Only ticketed passengers may enter the terminal, so pre-booked drivers wait outside the arrivals exit, on the arrivals ramp and in the parking zones in front of the building.

Visa and e-Arrival Card. Most foreign visitors need an Indian visa or e-Visa, and Hyderabad accepts e-Visa arrivals. Foreign nationals, including OCI cardholders, must also complete the online e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before landing; paper arrival cards are no longer used.
Terminal entry. Only ticketed passengers may enter Indian airport terminals, so your driver cannot wait inside; look for the name board outside the arrivals exit.
