Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) sits north of downtown Jacksonville, off I-95. It has one terminal with a central hall leading to the concourses, and baggage claim on the lower level, so it's quick to get from the gate to the curb.
Most flights are domestic. Summer afternoon thunderstorms and hurricane season, from June to November, can delay flights. Jacksonville is on Eastern time.
