O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is on Chicago's northwest side, next to Rosemont and northwest of the Loop. It has four terminals in use: Terminals 1, 2 and 3 in the center of the airport, and Terminal 5 to the east, linked by the free Airport Transit System train.
Most international flights arrive at Terminal 5, where passengers clear US immigration and customs before baggage claim; flights from airports with US preclearance, such as most of Canada, arrive as domestic flights. Winter snow and summer thunderstorms can delay flights. Chicago is on Central time.
