Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) sits west of the city in Findlay and Moon townships. Gates are in the X-shaped airside building, and arrivals collect their bags in the main terminal before heading out to ground transportation; the airport has been building a new terminal, so check the signs on arrival.
Most flights are domestic, with a handful of international routes; international arrivals clear US immigration and customs at the airport. Winter brings snow and cold, which can delay flights. Pittsburgh is on Eastern time.
