Airport Transfers
Private airport transportation from Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) in Italy to hotels across central Rome and Vatican City, the Civitavecchia cruise port and the town of Fiumicino.
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Rome–Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Airport transportation in Rome takes you from Fiumicino Airport to hotels and apartments in the historic center, near Vatican City and across the city, to the coast at Fiumicino, and up the coast to the cruise port of Civitavecchia.
Our Rome airport transfers start in the public arrivals hall of your terminal, Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. Your driver tracks your flight and waits with a sign showing your name as you come out of customs.
You get a fixed price per vehicle before you fly, in sizes from sedans for couples and business travelers to vans for families and groups. Every Rome airport transfer goes door to door, to a hotel in the historic center, an apartment near the Vatican, Roma Termini station or a cruise ship at Civitavecchia.
Our Rome airport shuttle is a private van for your party only: it leaves as soon as you are through customs and goes straight to your hotel or ship, with no stops for other passengers and no change at Roma Termini. There is room for suitcases and cruise luggage, so it suits families, groups and cruise passengers heading to Civitavecchia.

Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (FCO) sits near the coast in the town of Fiumicino, outside the city of Rome. It is operated by Aeroporti di Roma and is the hub of ITA Airways.
Two passenger terminals are in use and stand side by side: Terminal 1 handles domestic and Schengen flights, and Terminal 3, the largest, handles domestic, Schengen and non-Schengen flights, including most long-haul services. Terminal 2 closed in 2017.
If you arrive from outside the Schengen Area, you go through passport control first. You then collect your bags in the baggage hall of your terminal and pass through customs into the public arrivals hall, so check whether you landed at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. Rome is on Central European Time (UTC+1) and moves to UTC+2 from late March to late October.
Entry rules. Italy is in the Schengen Area. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation. Check passport validity and visa rules for your nationality before you travel.
Fiumicino or Ciampino. Rome has two airports, both run by Aeroporti di Roma. This page is for Fiumicino (FCO); check your ticket to confirm which airport your flight uses before you book.
Decline ride offers inside the terminal. Rome's licensed taxis are white with a TAXI sign on the roof and wait at the official stands outside. Turn down people who approach you inside the terminal offering rides and look for your driver with your name sign.
