Airport Transfers
Private airport transportation from San Diego Airport (SAN) to downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter, the cruise terminal, Coronado, La Jolla, Del Mar and Carlsbad, booked before you land.
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from San Diego International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Our airport transportation in San Diego takes you from the airport to hotels downtown and in the Gaslamp Quarter, to the cruise terminal, across the bay to Coronado, and up the coast to La Jolla, Del Mar and Carlsbad.
San Diego airport transfers start at the terminal where your flight lands, Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, and international arrivals come out at Terminal 2 after US customs. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and you choose the vehicle for your party, from a sedan for two to an SUV for a family or small group with luggage.
Each San Diego airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel downtown or in the Gaslamp Quarter, to your ship at the cruise terminal, to Coronado or La Jolla, or to homes and resorts in Del Mar, Carlsbad, Rancho Santa Fe and Poway. For addresses in Del Mar, Carlsbad, Rancho Santa Fe and Poway, the fare for each vehicle shows in the booking form before you pay.
Our San Diego airport shuttle is a private SUV for your party only, not a shared van that stops at other hotels along the way. It leaves as soon as you have your bags, with room for suitcases, strollers and beach or golf gear, and suits families, cruise passengers and groups heading up the coast together.

San Diego International Airport (SAN), still widely known as Lindbergh Field, is the airport for San Diego and southern California. It sits on San Diego Bay northwest of downtown, one of the closest big-city airports to its downtown in the United States, and is run by the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority.
There are two terminals. The new Terminal 1 opened its first phase in September 2025, and Terminal 2 has East and West concourses and the international arrivals facility. If you arrive on an international flight, you clear US Customs and Border Protection at the southwest corner of Terminal 2; Global Entry or Mobile Passport Control can shorten the line if you are eligible. Domestic passengers go straight to baggage claim, and pre-booked drivers meet you at the terminal where your flight arrives.
San Diego is on Pacific Time and switches to daylight saving time from March to November.
US entry at Terminal 2. International arrivals clear US Customs and Border Protection at Terminal 2 and follow the usual US entry rules, including a visa or an approved ESTA for eligible nationalities.
Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Each terminal has its own baggage claim and pickup zones, so give your airline and terminal when you book.
Crossing into Mexico. If you are heading on to Tijuana, carry your passport for the border crossing at San Ysidro.
Cruise days. For the cruise terminal, give your ship and boarding time, so your driver drops you at the right pier.
