Skopje International Airport is the main airport of North Macedonia, in the municipality of Petrovec southeast of the capital. It is operated by TAV Airports and is a base for Wizz Air.
All flights use one passenger terminal, opened in 2011. After North Macedonian passport control, collect your bags in the baggage hall and pass through customs into the arrivals hall. The terminal is compact, so the walk to the exit is short.
North Macedonia uses Central European Time (UTC+1, UTC+2 in summer).
Non-Schengen entry: North Macedonia is outside the EU and the Schengen Area, so the EU Entry/Exit System does not apply here. EU and Schengen citizens can enter with a national ID card; other travelers should check visa rules with North Macedonia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs before flying.
Authorized taxis at the exit: Airport Taxi is the only company authorized to pick up passengers at the terminal exit. Your pre-booked driver meets you inside the arrivals hall instead.
