St. Maarten airport transfers start outside the arrival hall at Princess Juliana International, where your driver waits for you after immigration, baggage claim and customs. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and the price for your vehicle is agreed before you fly, from a sedan for two to a van for a family or group with luggage.
Each transfer goes door to door to your hotel, condo or villa on either side of the island, or to the ferry terminal for Anguilla, St. Barths or Saba: we drive you to the port, and the crossing is booked separately.
Our St. Maarten airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, not a shared minibus working its way along the main road. It leaves as soon as you have your bags, with room for suitcases and beach gear, and suits families, wedding groups and friends sharing a villa.

Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) stands at Simpson Bay on the Dutch side of the island, between the lagoon and Maho Beach. All flights use one terminal building, rebuilt after Hurricane Irma; its new arrival hall, with updated immigration, baggage claim and customs, reopened in October 2024.
After landing you follow the signs to immigration, collect your bags and pass through customs, then walk out to the pickup and drop-off area in front of the terminal, where pre-booked drivers wait. Independent porters can help with bags for a small fee.
The island is on Atlantic Standard Time (UTC−4) all year, with no daylight saving time.
Entry form. Every visitor fills in the free online Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) form at entry.sx before flying, one per traveler, using the passport shown on arrival. Third-party sites charge for the same form, so use the official one. Bring a return or onward ticket; visa rules depend on your nationality.
Two sides, one island. Sint Maarten is Dutch and Saint-Martin is French, but there are no border checks between them, so your driver goes straight to Marigot, Grand Case or Orient Bay.
Dollars, guilders and euros. The Dutch side's currency is the Caribbean guilder, introduced in 2025, but U.S. dollars are accepted almost everywhere there; the French side uses the euro.
No ride-hailing. Uber and Lyft do not operate on the island, so arrange your rides in advance.

Maho, Cupecoy and Simpson Bay are a few minutes from the terminal. The drive to Philipsburg or to Marigot usually takes 20 to 30 minutes, and longer at rush hour, when traffic builds around Simpson Bay.
