Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) is Jordan's main airport, in Zizya, south of Amman on the Desert Highway. All flights use one terminal, with arrivals on the lower level, departures above and gates on the North and South piers.
After landing, follow the signs to immigration. Visa-on-arrival counters sit before passport control for nationalities that can buy a visa at the airport. Then collect your bags and pass through customs into the arrivals hall, where you find ATMs, SIM card shops and car rental desks.
Jordan stays on UTC+3 all year and uses the Jordanian dinar (JOD).
