Paris-Orly Airport (ORY) is the second airport of Paris, south of the city between the Val-de-Marne and Essonne departments, and a base for Transavia, easyJet, Vueling, Air Caraïbes, Corsair and French Bee. It has four terminals: Orly 1 and 2 (gates A to C), mainly for domestic, European and Mediterranean flights; Orly 3 (gates D and E), the junction building opened in 2019; and Orly 4 (gates E and F), for most long-haul flights and many flights to North Africa and Turkey. Orly 1, 2 and 3 form one building, and Orly 4 is linked to it by an indoor walkway. Air France ended its mainland flights from Orly on 29 March 2026; its flights to Corsica continue here, and Transavia now flies most of its former domestic routes.
From a Schengen country there is no passport control. From outside the Schengen area, including the UK, North Africa, North America and the French overseas departments, you pass border police before baggage claim, and non-EU visitors are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System on their first entry, which can add time. After baggage claim and customs you exit into the public arrivals hall of your terminal, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers. Orly has a night curfew, with no landings scheduled between 23:30 and 06:15.
France is on Central European Time (UTC+1) and switches to UTC+2 for daylight saving time from late March to late October. It uses the euro.
Schengen entry. France is in the Schengen area. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation. Check the visa rules for your nationality before you fly.
Orly, not CDG. Paris has two main airports. This page books rides from Orly (ORY); if your ticket shows Charles de Gaulle (CDG), also called Roissy, book on our CDG page.
Your terminal. Terminal assignments at Orly change with the seasons and individual flights, so check Orly 1, 2, 3 or 4 on your boarding pass and give it when you book.

Orly is about 13 km (8 miles) south of central Paris, the closer of the city's two main airports; Charles de Gaulle is about 23 km (14 miles) northeast. By road, the drive from Orly usually takes 25 to 50 minutes, depending on traffic and your destination.
Orly 1 and 2 handle mainly domestic, European and Mediterranean flights, including easyJet, Vueling, Transavia, Iberia and TAP Air Portugal. Orly 3 is used by Air Corsica, Transavia and Wizz Air, and Orly 4 by most long-haul flights, including Air Caraïbes, Corsair, French Bee and La Compagnie, and by Air Algérie, Royal Air Maroc and Tunisair. Your boarding pass is the final word, as assignments change.
Only to Corsica. Air France moved its mainland flights to Charles de Gaulle on 29 March 2026, and Transavia now flies most of the domestic routes Air France used to fly from Orly.

Metro Line 14 runs from the station beside Orly 3 to Gare de Lyon and Châtelet, the Orlyval shuttle train links the terminals with Antony for RER B trains into the city, and the tram T7 runs from Orly 4 to Villejuif for Metro Line 7. A private transfer is easier with luggage, late at night or for addresses away from the stations.
