Adolfo López Mateos International Airport (TLC), known as Toluca International Airport, sits about 10 km northeast of Toluca's center and about 30 km west of Santa Fe in Mexico City. One single-storey passenger terminal is in use, and passengers walk between the aircraft and the building.
Scheduled flights are domestic, so arrivals go straight to baggage claim. There is no regular public transport from the airport.

Make sure you land at TLC. Mexico City is also served by Benito Juárez (MEX) and Felipe Ángeles (NLU). These transfers start at Toluca.

Altitude. At about 2,580 m, the air is thin and nights are cold; keep a warm layer handy.
