Vilnius Čiurlionis International Airport (VNO), usually called Vilnius Airport, is the airport of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, in the Naujininkai district south of the city. It is a base for airBaltic, Ryanair and Wizz Air. Passengers use two connected buildings: flights depart from the Departures Terminal, and every arriving flight comes out through the historic Arrivals Terminal.
After you leave the aircraft, follow the arrivals signs. Flights from inside the Schengen area have no passport control; flights from outside it go through passport control first. Collect your bags at baggage claim, then pass through customs into the arrivals hall of the Arrivals Terminal.
Lithuania is on Eastern European Time (UTC+2), moving to UTC+3 from late March to late October.
Schengen entry. Lithuania is in the Schengen area. Visa-exempt visitors may stay up to 90 days in any 180-day period, and others need a Schengen visa. Non-EU travelers arriving from outside the Schengen area are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System at passport control, and the EU's planned ETIAS travel authorization will add a pre-travel step once it starts.
Customs. From outside the EU, you may not bring in meat, milk or most other animal products, and cash over EUR 10,000 must be declared.
Euro. Lithuania uses the euro (EUR), and cards and contactless payments are widely accepted.
Ride-hailing pickup. Bolt pickups use a dedicated zone next to the intercity bus stops, not the taxi line outside arrivals.

Vilnius Airport is about 5.9 km south of the city center. The drive to the Old Town usually takes 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Your transfer goes straight to your hotel or apartment, whether it is near Cathedral Square, in Užupis or in the business district around Europa Tower north of the Neris River.
