Terminal 2
The international terminal, expanded and reopened in April 2025. Since 27 October 2025 all international flights arrive and depart here.
Also known as: Antalya International Airport, AYT Airport.
AYT · LTAI · Antalya
Antalya Airport (AYT) is the main airport for Antalya and the Turkish Riviera on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. It stands in the Muratpaşa district, about 13 km (8 miles) northeast of Antalya city center, and handled about 39 million passengers in 2025, most of them on international flights.
Holiday flights arrive from across Europe: Jet2.com, TUI, easyJet and Corendon Airlines bring travelers from the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, while SunExpress and Pegasus Airlines fly both European and domestic routes. Turkish Airlines and AJet link Antalya with Istanbul and Ankara.
International flights use Terminal 2, expanded and reopened in April 2025, and domestic flights use the separate Domestic Terminal. Terminal 1, the older international terminal, has had no international flights since 27 October 2025, and free ring shuttles link the buildings.
From the airport, most travelers head west into Antalya's old town, Kaleiçi, and the Konyaaltı beach, or a short way south to the resort hotels of Lara and Kundu. Others continue east to Belek, about 35 km away, and on to Side, or southwest along the coast to Kemer. Alanya is a longer drive of about 130 km to the east.

International flights land at Terminal 2. You go first to passport control, where visitors line up separately from Turkish citizens. Citizens of the US, Canada, the UK and most EU countries can visit Turkey visa-free for short stays; other nationalities may need an e-visa, which you apply for online before you fly.
After passport control, collect your bags at the belt shown on the screens and pass through customs into the arrivals hall. Tour operator representatives and pre-booked drivers wait at the arrivals exit, so look for your name sign or your tour operator's desk there.
Official taxis wait at the rank in front of the arrivals exit, and the drivers carry an airport ID card. If you are flying on within Turkey, the Domestic Terminal is a separate building: take the free ring shuttle from in front of departures.
Turkey uses the Turkish lira and is on Turkey Time (UTC+3) all year, with no daylight saving time.
The tram and city buses are cheap for central Antalya; a taxi or private transfer is easier with luggage and for the resort areas.
A pre-booked driver meets you at the arrivals exit and goes door to door to your hotel in Antalya, Lara, Belek, Side or Kemer. It suits families, groups and anyone heading to a resort outside the city.
Taxis wait in front of the arrivals exit of every terminal, with a fare board beside the rank. They go door to door and suit short trips to the city and Lara; longer rides to the resorts add up.
The AntRay tram runs from the airport toward Meydan and Fatih in the city, with a connection to the old town. It is the cheapest way into Antalya but slow with luggage, at about 50 minutes to İsmetpaşa near Kaleiçi.
Bus 600 runs to the city bus station (Otogar) by way of the shopping malls, and bus 800 runs to Lara and Konyaaltı beaches. Check times in the Antalyakart app.
Havaş buses run from the airport to the 5M Migros shopping center on the west side of the city, near the Kemer minibus stop, in about 45 minutes.
Package travelers ride their tour operator's bus to the hotel. The welcome desks are just outside the terminal, and the bus may stop at several hotels on the way.

Antalya Airport is about 13 km (8 miles) northeast of Antalya city center, and the drive to the old town, Kaleiçi, usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes outside rush hour. The AntRay tram is slower, about 50 minutes to İsmetpaşa near Kaleiçi, and city buses and Havaş buses also run into Antalya.
If you fly in from abroad, you arrive at Terminal 2: since 27 October 2025 all international flights at Antalya Airport use it. Flights from Istanbul, Ankara and other Turkish cities arrive at the separate Domestic Terminal. Terminal 1, the older international terminal, has had no international flights since that date, so check your boarding pass.
Free ring shuttle buses link Terminal 2, Terminal 1 and the Domestic Terminal, with stops in front of the departures area of each terminal. Taxis also wait at every terminal. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are about 2.5 km apart, so allow time if you are connecting between an international and a domestic flight.
Lara and Kundu are the closest resort areas to Antalya Airport, about 15 km (9 miles) south along the coast. The drive usually takes 15 to 25 minutes. Bus 800 also runs from the airport to Lara Beach, but most travelers with luggage take a taxi, a private transfer or their tour operator's bus to the resort hotels.
Belek is about 30 to 35 km (20 miles) east of Antalya Airport, and the drive takes around 30 to 40 minutes on the D400 coastal highway. Belek is known for its golf courses and large all-inclusive resorts. There is no direct tram, so most travelers take a private transfer, a taxi or their tour operator's bus.
Side is about 65 to 70 km (40 miles) east of Antalya Airport, roughly an hour's drive, and Kemer is about 45 to 55 km (30 miles) southwest, around 45 to 60 minutes through the city. Alanya is farther, about 130 km (80 miles) east, a drive of about two hours.
Yes. The AntRay tram runs from the airport toward Meydan and Fatih in Antalya; follow the AntRay signs outside the terminal. It is the cheapest way into the city, taking about 50 minutes to İsmetpaşa, where you can walk into Kaleiçi. Times are listed on the Antalya transport website and in the Antalyakart app.
Yes. City bus 600 runs to the Antalya bus station (Otogar), and bus 800 serves Lara and Konyaaltı beaches. Havaş airport buses run to the 5M Migros shopping center in the west of the city. Buses use the Antalyakart transport card, and package travelers ride their tour operator's bus to the hotel.
Taxi ranks are in front of the arrivals exits of all terminals at Antalya Airport. All airport taxi drivers carry a special airport ID card, and a board next to the rank shows the fares. Taxis go door to door to Antalya, Lara and the resorts, which is easiest with luggage or late at night.
It depends on your nationality. Citizens of the US, Canada, the UK and most EU countries can visit Turkey visa-free for short stays, up to 90 days in 180 for many. Other nationalities may need an e-visa, applied for online before travel. Check the passport validity rules for your nationality too, as they differ between visa-free and e-visa travelers.
Yes. Terminal 2 has three FTA Exclusive lounges: Premium, with an in-house chef and its own entrance; Elite, the largest, used by many tour operator and hotel guests; and Comfort, mainly for airline loyalty members. All three are airside, and entry can be booked online through FTA Exclusive before you fly.
The main parking garage is the multi-story parking garage across from the Domestic Terminal, with 2,654 spaces and electric vehicle charging on its ground floor. There is also an open-air parking lot beside the Domestic Terminal. Fees are charged by time, and the airport's website has a parking calculator.
Antalya Airport is on Turkey Time, UTC+3, all year round. Turkey does not change its clocks for daylight saving time, so the time difference with the UK and most of Europe is one hour shorter in summer than in winter. Check your watch and phone when you land.
