Corfu International Airport "Ioannis Kapodistrias" (CFU) is the airport for the island of Corfu, in the Ionian Sea, Greece. It sits just south of Corfu Town, about 2–3 km by road from the old town, around 10 minutes by car. In 2024 it handled about 4.3 million passengers, most of them between April and October.
The United Kingdom is by far the biggest market, followed by Germany, Greece, Italy and Poland. Aegean Airlines and Ryanair have focus cities here, and easyJet, Jet2, TUI, Wizz Air, Norwegian and Eurowings fly many seasonal routes.
All flights use a single passenger terminal, first opened in 1972. Fraport Greece runs the airport and has been upgrading it with more check-in desks and departure gates.
From the airport, most visitors head into Corfu Town, south to Benitses, Moraitika and Kavos, north to Dassia, Ipsos, Kassiopi and Sidari, or west to Paleokastritsa and Glyfada. Ferries to Paxos and the mainland leave from Corfu Town's port.

All flights arrive at the single terminal. Flights from Athens and other Schengen countries arrive without passport checks. If you come from outside the Schengen area, as many visitors do from the UK, you queue at passport control, where non-EU visitors are registered in the EU's Entry/Exit System. On summer weekends, when many charter flights land close together, the small terminal can be very crowded.
Once you have your bags, head outside to the taxi rank and the bus stop. Buses run between the airport and Corfu Town, and taxis take about 10 minutes to the old town. For resorts further away, such as Kassiopi, Sidari, Paleokastritsa or Kavos, the drive can take an hour or more on narrow island roads. Pre-booked drivers usually meet you in the arrivals area.
Greece is on Eastern European Time (EET), two hours ahead of the UK, and uses the euro.
Corfu Town is only minutes away; for resorts around the island, a pre-booked car or taxi is the practical choice.
Taxis wait outside arrivals and reach Corfu Town in about 10 minutes. Summer queues can be long.
A pre-booked car meets you in the arrivals area, the easiest option for Kassiopi, Sidari, Paleokastritsa, Kavos and villas around the island.
Buses run between the airport and the city center. The cheapest option for Corfu Town, but not for most resorts.
Rental desks at the airport, useful for exploring the island's beaches and villages.

Most of these routes run only in summer.
Corfu Airport is just south of Corfu Town, about 2–3 km by road, around 10 minutes by car or taxi. Buses also run between the airport and the city center.
Kassiopi and Sidari are in the north of Corfu, an hour or more from the airport on island roads. A pre-booked transfer or taxi goes straight to your hotel; public buses need a change in Corfu Town and take much longer.
Aegean Airlines and Ryanair have focus cities at Corfu, and easyJet, Jet2, TUI, Wizz Air, Norwegian and Eurowings fly many seasonal routes. The UK is the biggest market, followed by Germany, Italy and Poland.
Corfu is busiest from April to October, when most seasonal flights run, and especially on summer weekends. The terminal is small, so expect queues at passport control and baggage claim, and book your ride ahead.
Corfu has one passenger terminal, first opened in 1972, for all domestic and international flights. Fraport Greece, which runs the airport, has been expanding it with more check-in desks and gates.
Paxos has no airport, so visitors fly into Corfu and take a ferry from the port in Corfu Town. A taxi or pre-booked transfer from the airport to the port takes only a few minutes.
