Also known as: Nha Trang Airport, CXR Airport, Cam Ranh Airport, Nha Trang Cam Ranh Airport.

Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) is the airport for Nha Trang and the rest of Khanh Hoa province on the south-central coast of Vietnam. It stands on the Cam Ranh peninsula, beside the Nguyen Tat Thanh coastal road, about 35 km (22 miles) south of Nha Trang city center, a drive of roughly 45 minutes to an hour.
Most passengers here fly internationally. Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, Jin Air, T'way Air, Air Busan and Eastar Jet link the airport with Seoul and Busan, Chinese airlines fly in from Guangzhou, Chengdu and other cities, and Air Astana, Uzbekistan Airways, Scoot and AirAsia add Central Asia, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air and Bamboo Airways connect Cam Ranh with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and other Vietnamese cities.
The airport has two passenger terminals side by side: Terminal T1 for domestic flights and Terminal T2 for international flights.
From the airport, most travelers head north along the coast to the resorts of Cam Ranh Bay and Bai Dai (Long Beach), then on to Nha Trang's Tran Phu beachfront and city center. Others stay at resorts on Hon Tre island, reached by boat from the mainland.

International flights arrive at Terminal T2. Follow the signs to immigration with your passport and your e-visa or proof of visa-free entry ready; your passport should be valid for six months beyond your stay. After immigration, find your flight on the screens and collect your bags from the carousel shown, then pass through the customs checkpoint. You only need a customs declaration if you carry goods that must be declared.
Customs opens into the public arrival area on the ground floor, where you will find ATMs, currency exchange counters and SIM card desks. Changing a small amount of money into Vietnamese dong here is useful for tips and small purchases.
Domestic flights arrive at Terminal T1, next door, with no immigration or customs: collect your bags and walk out to the arrivals area.
Outside both terminals you will find the taxi line, the stop for bus route 18 to Nha Trang and the ride-hailing pickup points. Pre-booked drivers usually wait at the exit of the arrival hall with a name sign. Vietnam is on UTC+7 all year.
A pre-booked car or a taxi is the easiest way to the Cam Ranh Bay resorts and Nha Trang; bus route 18 is the budget option for the city.
Metered taxis wait outside the arrival halls of both terminals, with companies such as Mai Linh, Vinasun and Xanh SM. The ride to Nha Trang city center takes about 45 minutes to an hour; agree on the meter before you set off.
Route 18, run by Dat Moi Bus and Vinbus, links the airport with Nha Trang, stopping at Tran Quang Khai, Nguyen Thien Thuat, Tran Hung Dao and the 19/8 Stadium. It takes about 50 to 60 minutes, and you walk from the stop to your hotel.
Grab, Be and Xanh SM work at the airport; you book in the app and meet the car at the pickup area outside arrivals. Larger cars can be scarce when several flights land at once.
A pre-booked car or van meets you at the arrival hall exit and drives you straight to your hotel in Nha Trang, the Cam Ranh Bay resorts or the pier for Hon Tre island, which suits families, groups and late arrivals.

Yes. Nha Trang's airport is Cam Ranh International Airport, code CXR, on the Cam Ranh peninsula about 35 km south of the city. Nha Trang's old city-center airfield stopped handling airline flights when Cam Ranh took over civil traffic in 2004, so any flight to Nha Trang lands at Cam Ranh. Check for the code CXR on your ticket.

Some nationalities, including several European countries, Japan and South Korea, can enter visa-free for a limited stay. Your passport should be valid for six months beyond your stay. Check the current rules for your nationality.
