Scoot is a Singapore low-cost airline owned by Singapore Airlines. It was founded in November 2011 and began flying in June 2012 with a flight from Singapore to Sydney. In 2017 it merged with Tigerair, another Singapore Airlines Group carrier, and kept the Scoot name. Scoot is not a member of an airline alliance, and its passengers earn miles in KrisFlyer, the Singapore Airlines program.

Its hub is Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), where it flies from Terminal 1. Taipei Taoyuan is a focus city, with flights from Singapore that continue to Tokyo Narita, Sapporo and Seoul. Scoot serves about 85 destinations in 18 countries and territories across Southeast Asia, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Australia, the Middle East and Europe.

The fleet of about 63 aircraft combines Boeing 787 Dreamliners, Airbus A320-family jets and Embraer E190-E2 regional jets.
