Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport, known as Mérida International Airport, is the main airport for Mérida and the state of Yucatán. It is less than 5 km southwest of the city centre, making it one of the most convenient city airports in Mexico.
Operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR), the airport handled about 3.9 million passengers in 2025. It has domestic flights to cities across Mexico and international service to the United States and Canada.
The airport has a single two-storey terminal with 11 gates (C1 to C11), seven of them with jet bridges. A 260-metre departures concourse has restaurants, duty-free shops and VIP lounges.
The short distance from the city makes the trip quick, but allow time for airline check-in and security, particularly during holidays.
