Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is the main airport for West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County, Florida, in the United States. It sits just west of downtown West Palm Beach, between Interstate 95, Southern Boulevard and Congress Avenue.
JetBlue, Delta, American, United and Southwest fly the most routes, with many flights to New York, Boston and the rest of the Northeast, and Frontier, Allegiant, Breeze, Avelo and Sun Country add more. International flights go to Toronto and Montréal with Air Canada and Porter, mostly in winter, and to Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas with Bahamasair. Winter is the busiest season.
The airport has one terminal with 31 gates on three concourses: A (4 gates), B (13 gates) and C (14 gates). International arrivals clear customs on the lower level, on the west side of the terminal.
From the airport, most travelers head across the Intracoastal Waterway to Palm Beach island, into downtown West Palm Beach, or along the coast to Jupiter, Delray Beach and Boca Raton.

If you arrive from abroad, you clear US immigration and customs on the lower level on the west side of the terminal, reached from Concourses A and B. Domestic flights arrive at Concourses A, B or C and lead back to the main terminal and baggage claim.
Once you have your bags, follow the ground transportation signs outside. Taxis, rideshare, hotel shuttles and pre-booked cars each have signposted pickup areas.
Palm Tran bus routes 2 and 44 serve the airport and run to the West Palm Beach Amtrak and Tri-Rail station, which also has Greyhound service; a Palm Tran shuttle links that station with the airport too. Tri-Rail trains then run south toward Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
West Palm Beach is on Eastern Time. Winter, from about November to April, is the busy season, when many seasonal flights run. Summers are hot and humid, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs from June to November.
Most travelers use a taxi, rideshare or pre-booked car; Palm Tran buses and the Tri-Rail shuttle are the budget options.
A pre-booked car meets you outside baggage claim, useful for Palm Beach island, Jupiter, Boca Raton and groups with luggage.
Taxis wait at the signposted rank outside the terminal. Downtown West Palm Beach and Palm Beach are short rides; fares add up along the coast.
Rideshare apps pick up at the signposted zone outside the terminal. Fares rise in the winter season.
Palm Tran routes 2 and 44 and a shuttle connect the airport with the West Palm Beach Amtrak and Tri-Rail station. Cheapest, but slower with luggage.
