Brasília–President Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport (BSB) is the airport for Brasília, the capital of Brazil. It handled 16.7 million passengers in 2025, the third-highest total among Brazilian airports.
Most flights are domestic. GOL, LATAM Airlines and Azul connect Brasília with São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Recife, Fortaleza, Manaus and the other state capitals, with direct daily flights to all 26 of them. International routes include TAP to Lisbon, Copa Airlines to Panama City, GOL to Miami and Orlando, and LATAM to Santiago and Lima.
The airport has one passenger terminal with a central building, a north pier and a south pier. Domestic and international flights share it, and gates at the ends of the piers can be a long walk apart.
BSB sits south of the Plano Piloto, about 13 km (8 mi) from downtown Brasília. In normal traffic the drive to the center takes around 15 minutes, though the return trip can be slow at the end of the working day.
From the airport, travelers head to the Plano Piloto, the Esplanada dos Ministérios, the North and South Hotel Sectors, the Brasília Convention Center and the Rodoviária do Plano Piloto bus station.

Baggage claim and the arrivals hall are on the lower level of the terminal, where you will also find the taxi rank, rideshare pickup and car rental desks.
For a taxi, use the airport-accredited cabs that queue on the arrivals level road, reached from the hall or the exit doors. Ignore offers from people approaching you away from that rank. Uber and 99 pick up at the Praça PickUp area on the arrivals level; check the app for the exact spot, as it has changed before. Pre-booked drivers usually wait in the arrivals hall with a name sign.
Brasília uses Brasília time (UTC-3) with no daylight saving time, and the currency is the Brazilian real (BRL). The dry season runs from about May to September, and the rainy season from about October to April.

Executive bus line 113 runs from outside arrivals to the North and South Hotel Sectors and the Brasília Convention Center. Departures are infrequent and limited on Sundays and holidays, so check the schedule.
Local buses, including line 102, run from outside arrivals to the Rodoviária do Plano Piloto, which links to the metro and intercity buses. There is no metro station at the airport, and the buses have little room for large bags.
