About Guadalajara International Airport

Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Guadalajara International Airport is the main airport for Guadalajara, Mexico's second-largest city. It is located in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, about 17 km southeast of downtown Guadalajara.

Operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), it was Mexico's third-busiest airport in 2025, with about 18.7 million passengers. Volaris has its largest hub here, Viva also uses it as a hub, and Aeroméxico operates it as a focus city. International service focuses on the United States, with additional flights to Canada and Central America.

The airport has a single two-storey terminal with 43 gates across four concourses (A, B, C and D). A second runway opened in July 2024, and a new terminal that will nearly double capacity is under construction.

  1. Follow signs to Mexican immigration and passport control.

New terminal
