Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) is the main international airport for Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. It handled about 24.3 million passengers in 2025.
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Norwegian run the largest networks, with flights across Sweden, the Nordic countries and Europe. Long-haul routes include Emirates to Dubai, Thai Airways to Bangkok and seasonal Delta Air Lines flights to New York, while Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, KLM and Air France connect through their hubs.
Two terminals are in use. Terminal 5, the largest, handles domestic, Schengen and non-Schengen flights, and Terminal 2 serves several European airlines and some regional domestic flights. The former Terminal 4 gates, C30 to C44, are now part of Terminal 5.
Arlanda lies about 37 km north of central Stockholm and about 40 km southeast of Uppsala. Arlanda Express trains reach Stockholm Central Station in 18 minutes, and commuter trains, long-distance trains and airport coaches also serve the airport. From here, most travelers continue to central Stockholm, Uppsala, Gävle or Sundsvall.
