Main Terminal
The single passenger terminal, with separate international and domestic sections. International arrivals go through passport control and customs before the public arrivals hall.
Also known as: Agadir Airport, AGA Airport, Al Massira Airport.
AGA · GMAD · Agadir
Agadir–Al Massira Airport (AGA) is the airport for Agadir, on Morocco's Atlantic coast, and for the wider Souss-Massa region. It stands in the commune of Temsia, about 20 km (12 miles) southeast of central Agadir, and the drive to the beachfront usually takes 30 to 40 minutes.
Most passengers arrive from Europe. Ryanair, easyJet, Transavia, Jet2 and TUI fly the most routes, to the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Poland, while Condor, Eurowings, Norwegian, SAS, Edelweiss and Air Transat add seasonal flights to Germany, Scandinavia, Switzerland and Montréal. Royal Air Maroc and Air Arabia link Agadir with Casablanca, Fès, Rabat, Tangier and other Moroccan cities. The airport handled about 3.5 million passengers in 2025.
All flights use one terminal, divided into international and domestic sections, with a single runway.
From the airport, most travelers head to the hotels along Agadir's bay, the Marina and Founty, or north along the coast to the surf villages of Tamraght and Taghazout. Others continue to Inezgane, Taroudant or the beaches south toward Tiznit.

International flights arrive in the international section of the terminal, where you go through passport control. Citizens of the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and EU countries can stay in Morocco up to 90 days without a visa; others need a visa in advance, and your passport should be valid for six months after arrival.
Collect your bags in the baggage hall, where luggage carts are available, and pass customs into the public arrivals hall. Bank and exchange offices, ATMs, car rental desks and a 24-hour medical unit are in this hall. The Moroccan dirham is a closed currency, so get cash here before you leave.
Taxis wait at the rank outside the arrivals exit, and the ALSA Aerobus stops outside the terminal for central Agadir. Pre-booked drivers wait just outside the arrivals hall exit with a name sign. If someone offers you a ride inside the hall, use the official rank or your booked driver instead.
Morocco has used GMT (UTC+0) year-round since 20 September 2026, with no daylight saving time.
A taxi or pre-booked transfer suits most travelers, since no bus runs directly to the hotel areas and the airport is well outside the city.
Grand taxis wait at the rank outside the arrivals exit, around the clock, and go door to door to Agadir, Taghazout and Tamraght. Fares are fixed by destination and rise in the evening, so confirm the fare before you set off.
The AE Aerobus runs from the airport to the Vallée des Oiseaux in central Agadir, passing the beach area, about once an hour, and takes about 50 minutes. It is cheap but slower than a car, and stops short of many hotels.
City bus 37 leaves from the junction on the main road outside the airport for Inezgane, where you change to another bus or a grand taxi for Agadir. It is the cheapest option but slow with luggage.
A pre-booked driver meets you just outside the arrivals hall with a name sign, useful for families, late arrivals and surf trips to Taghazout and Tamraght.
Several international and local rental companies have desks in the arrivals hall, handy for trips along the coast or inland to Taroudant.
