Air Algérie is the national airline of Algeria. Air Algérie SpA was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Algiers. It is not a member of any of the three global airline alliances.
Its main hub is Algiers Houari Boumediene Airport, and Oran Es Sénia Airport is a second base. Air Algérie lists 33 domestic and 57 international destinations. The network links Algerian cities with France, where it serves Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Nice and other airports, as well as other cities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and Montreal in Canada.
The fleet of about 62 aircraft combines Airbus A330s for long-haul and high-demand routes, Boeing 737s for medium-haul flights and ATR 72 turboprops for regional routes.
